AppLovin Agency Pricing: What WKND Charges

AppLovin agency pricing at WKND starts at $5,800 per month plus 3% of incremental sales, and your AppLovin media spend is paid to AppLovin separately. Management always includes growth forecasting, strategy, paid media buying, creative strategy, and creative iterations and curation built from your existing creative assets. Every proposal separates media, management, and optional work, such as creative made from scratch, new filming, or new tracking and catalog builds, so you can compare the true cost before launch.

What you pay, and who you pay

There are up to three separate costs.

CostPaid toWhat it is
MediaAppLovinYour ad spend, which funds campaign delivery. New accounts use prepaid billing by credit or debit card. AppLovin says advertisers can start from $10 per day.
ManagementWKND$5,800 per month plus 3% of incremental sales. Includes growth forecasting, strategy, paid media buying, creative strategy, and creative iterations and curation built from your existing creative assets.
Optional creative production or technical workWKNDScoped and quoted separately in the proposal, for example creative made from scratch, new filming, or new tracking and catalog work.

How incremental sales are measured

Incremental sales are measured against a baseline agreed in each proposal. Our published method sets a baseline of blended MER with AppLovin off or held flat, then uses a geo holdout or an on/off test. See AppLovin Incrementality Testing for Ecommerce Brands for how we run it.

What drives the scope

Pricing depends on monthly spend, campaign complexity, any new creative production, tracking or catalog work, and measurement needs. An engagement can cover only AppLovin Ads campaign management or sit inside a broader paid media scope.

Comparing agency quotes. Ask each agency to list media, management and optional work on separate lines. Check whether a percentage fee is charged on ad spend, on platform-attributed revenue or on measured incremental sales. Then compare the total cost at the same monthly spend.

AppLovin agency pricing FAQs

How much does an AppLovin agency cost at WKND?

WKND's AppLovin management starts at $5,800 per month plus 3% of incremental sales. Media spend is paid to AppLovin separately.

How much does AppLovin Ads cost?

AppLovin does not publish a flat software subscription price for Ads Manager. Advertisers fund media spend directly, and new accounts use prepaid billing by credit or debit card. If WKND manages the channel, agency strategy, creative, tracking, and optimization fees are separate from AppLovin media spend.

Is there a minimum budget?

AppLovin says advertisers can launch with as little as $10 per day. That is a technical entry point, not a serious development budget for most growth-stage brands. WKND is built for ecommerce brands prepared to invest at least $500 per day while developing the platform into a meaningful acquisition channel. The $500 figure is WKND's qualification threshold, not an AppLovin platform minimum or a performance guarantee. WKND's ideal client already runs $10k+/day in paid spend with positive unit economics.

What counts as incremental sales?

Incremental sales are sales above a baseline agreed in your proposal. Our incrementality testing page, linked above, explains how we measure against that baseline.

Is creative included in the management fee?

Yes. Creative strategy and creative iterations and curation are included: we build new concepts from your existing creative assets. Creative made from scratch or new filming is optional and quoted separately in the proposal, so you can see its cost before launch.

Who wins on AppLovin Axon Ads (and who doesn't)

AppLovin Axon Ads isn't for everyone. Here's how to know if it's for you.

Brands that win

  • Proven product-market fit with an existing customer base
  • Prior paid scale of $10k+/day with positive unit economics
  • Strong creative volume and production capacity
  • Willingness to move fast, test aggressively, and iterate
  • Clear attribution model and realistic ROAS expectations

Not a fit (right now)

  • Still validating product-market fit or finding your audience
  • Limited creative resources or slow production cycles
  • Smaller budgets that require immediate ROI to survive
  • Brands with low product quality or negative reviews
  • Looking for a "set it and forget it" advertising solution

Platform ROAS vs blended MER

Blended MER is total revenue divided by total ad spend across every channel. AppLovin reports that 80% of web conversions happen within 24 hours of the click, which makes the platform number fast.

Treat platform ROAS as the engine's scorecard for its own optimization, and judge the channel on blended and incremental results. Our position is that no channel earns scaled budget on its own reporting, Axon included, and the brands that have scaled on Axon are the ones that tested first.
